69·çÁ÷ will host Workforce 101 from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 11 to allow individuals to try out various career training programs. Registration for the free event is available.
Hands-on workforce sessions will be offered in construction, automotive technology, HVAC, commercial electrical maintenance, and hospitality and culinary arts.
The event begins at the Workforce Careers Center on the 69·çÁ÷ campus, 5250 Shepherd Road. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. From 10-11:15 a.m., participants will attend their chosen workforce session. From 11:30 a.m. to noon, participants can learn about steps to enroll, ways to pay for college and support services, such as Open Door - WEI and services for veterans.

Please note: Girls on the Run will also be holding an event on campus Nov. 11. When coming onto campus, police will direct Workforce 101 traffic through Lot 1 to park in Lot 2 or 4.
