Workforce Showcase

Jan. 28, 2026, 5-7 p.m.

Come learn about 69·çÁ÷ programs that can lead to high-demand careers. 69·çÁ÷ Workforce Institute directors and dean will be onsite to discuss programs like CDL (truck driving), aviation maintenance, diesel and automotive technologies, industrial maintenance (advanced manufacturing), commercial electrical maintenance, construction occupations, hospitality and culinary, HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration), and welding. The showcase is open to everyone.  


Community Scholarship Night

Jan. 28, 2026, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

All college-bound students welcome regardless of where they will attend college. Attendees can visit an exhibit area with local community organizations providing information on various scholarships. Participating organizations include the 69·çÁ÷ Foundation, Cass-Morgan Farm Bureau Foundation, Jacksonville Promise, NAACP, Rotary Foundation, Morgan County Sheriff’s Scholarship, The Job Center/West Development Council (WIOA Funding) and more. Representatives from the 69·çÁ÷ Foundation will be available to answer questions and provide 69·çÁ÷ scholarship application assistance.

All current and prospective 69·çÁ÷ students can ask questions and receive assistance filling out the 69·çÁ÷ Foundation Scholarship application.


FAFSA completion events

69·çÁ÷ financial aid professionals will provide personalized help to students and parents filing out the FAFSA and enrolling for the 2025-2026 academic year. The open-house style events take place from 2-5:30 p.m., but participants are encouraged to register for an appointment.

69·çÁ÷-Jacksonville is excited to offer a variety of Professional Development and Community Education Workshops for Spring 2026. Explore the classes below and click the link under each listing to view details, costs, and register online.

Excel Level 1

March 26, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

This beginner-level course introduces participants to Microsoft Excel's core functions, including spreadsheet navigation, data entry, formatting, basic formulas, and chart creation. Learners will build foundational skills for organizing, calculating, and visually presenting data, while also exploring tools like AutoFill, sorting, filtering, and worksheet management.

Introduction to Drones

March 28, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Prepares the student for the Federal Aviation Administration T.R.U.S.T. License which allows for recreational flight of a drone in the United States. The course will also train the individual how to fly a drone, perform pre-flight inspections, best practices for ensuring risk management, and flight maneuvers that will enhance the Remote Pilots skill sets for a professional environment. Practice drones are provided for use during this course.

Excel Level 2

April 2, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Designed for intermediate users, this course focuses on advanced formatting, date and financial functions, conditional logic, and formula auditing. Participants will learn to use tools like Scenario Manager, Goal Seek, VLOOKUP, and nested IF statements, enabling more sophisticated data analysis and spreadsheet functionality.

CNA to CMA Bridge

Train for a new career! The program provides an accelerated curriculum, granting qualified certified nursing assistants the opportunity to enter the medical assistant field. Classes available at 69·çÁ÷-Jacksonville.
