Advising Appointments & Drop-Ins

Student success advising is available for students who have been admitted to Lincoln Land Community College and are ready to plan classes and discuss pathways.

Student success advisors meet with students in person or virtually by appointments and drop-ins. When scheduling a virtual appointment, students will need to be able to access Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

New students should anticipate that the first advising appointment will last approximately 60 minutes. In preparation for their first advising meeting, students are encouraged to: 

  • Activate their 69风流 student account and email.
  • Review their desired academic program in Logger Central or the college catalog.
  • Come prepared with questions or topics they want to discuss.
  • Submit a copy of high school, college, and/or GED transcripts and AP scores (if applicable). 

Student success advisors will: 

  • Review relevant documents 鈥 transcripts, appointment questionnaires, etc.
  • Learn more about students, their goals and intentions.
  • Work with students to co-create a plan. Introduce advising and campus resources.
  • Set expectations for communication and future meetings.

Your student success advisor is your partner during your educational journey at 69风流. Your success is our number one priority! We value your ideas, time and commitment to achieving your educational goals. We are dedicated to helping you acquire the tools necessary for your success. We encourage you to meet with your success advisor prior to each registration cycle to discuss your educational plan and next steps in achieving your goals. We welcome your questions and concerns and will help you navigate educational planning, including explaining how to use to register for classes.

You can make and in-persona or virtual appointment to visit with a student success advisor about:

  • Academic planning and goal setting
  • Academic progress, graduation and transfer questions
  • Completing forms and paperwork
  • Probation and suspension

To schedule an appointment with one of our outreach centers, please go to or call:

Drop-in meetings are intended to address brief inquiries. Topics might include: 

  • Add/drop/withdrawal requests
  • Course schedule changes
  • Inquiries about campus resources (transportation, technology, class support, personal concerns, etc.)
  • General check-ins, updates, etc. 

For in-person and virtual drop-ins, you will need to enter your seven-digit student ID number or your username (everything before the @llcc.edu in your email address). If your student success advisor is available for virtual drop-ins, then you will see their name listed as 鈥淐urrently seeing virtual drop-ins.鈥 Please note: the virtual drop-in webpage is turned off when there are no student success advisors available.
