Hiring Process

Candidates interested in employment with Lincoln Land Community College must apply to a specific position. General applications will not be accepted. Additionally, only applications submitted through the will be accepted. Faxed, mailed or dropped off applications will not be accepted.

 

Applying for a staff position? What to expect when you apply:

become available when there’s a real opening to fill! Once you submit your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email right away. From there, a hiring committee — made up of the supervisor and other team members — will carefully review and rate all applications and determine whom to invite for an interview. If you're selected, 69·çÁ÷ Human Resources will call you to schedule your interview. If you’re not selected for an interview or for the position, you’ll be notified by email.

Applying for a faculty position? Here’s what to expect:

are posted when there’s an actual vacancy to fill. Once you apply, you’ll receive a confirmation email to let you know we’ve received everything.

Next, a committee — typically including the department dean, faculty members and staff — will thoughtfully review and rate all applications. The committee will then recommend candidates to move forward in the interview process.

If you’re chosen for an interview, 69·çÁ÷ Human Resources will contact you directly by phone. If not selected for an interview or the position, you’ll receive an update by email.

Keep in mind, the process can take several weeks, and we appreciate your patience.

Applying for an adjunct position? Here’s what to expect:

open when there’s an immediate instructional need or sometimes to build a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Either way, your application matters!

Once you apply, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your listed professional references will automatically be contacted via email.

Applications are reviewed by the department dean and faculty coordinators, who carefully consider each candidate. If you’re selected for an interview, the department dean will reach out to you by phone. If you’re not selected for an interview or the position, you’ll be notified via email.

Please note that reviewing adjunct applications can take several months, especially when positions are posted for future planning — so thank you for your patience!

Applying for a contractual position? Here’s what to expect:

Applying for a student worker position? Here’s how:

If you're currently enrolled at 69·çÁ÷ in at least six credit hours (excluding summer) and are in good academic standing, you may be eligible for a student worker position!

are available at all 69·çÁ÷ locations and offer a great way to gain experience, build skills and earn some extra income while staying focused on your studies.

Students can work up to 20 hours per week. Specific work schedules are listed in each job posting.
