69·çÁ÷ offers a variety of summer camps for first grade students through recent high school graduates. We offer camps in Springfield, Beardstown, Jacksonville, Litchfield and Taylorville.
Career Quest Camps
Build & Wire Skills Camp
- June 1-18 (Monday-Thursday)
- 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- High school juniors and seniors or recent graduates (limited to 12 students)
- 69·çÁ÷-Taylorville, 800 S. Spresser St., Taylorville
- Cost: Free
Jump into the world of skilled trades with this hands-on construction and electrical camp. Students gain real experience using professional tools, learning basic wiring and completing woodworking projects, including building their own furniture piece. Must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants for safety.
Hospitality Leadership Launch
- June 1-4 (Monday-Thursday)
- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- High school juniors and seniors or recent graduates (limited to 22 students)
- 69·çÁ÷ Workforce Careers Center and local hospitality sites
- Cost: Free
Discover the fast-paced, people-centered world of hospitality, including events, tourism, sports, guest services and entertainment. This one-week discovery camp takes students behind the scenes to see how unforgettable experiences are planned and delivered. Dress code for this camp is business casual (jeans or slacks and closed-toed shoes).
AgExplorers – Springfield
- June 1-4 (Monday-Thursday)
- 9 a.m. to noon
- Students entering or finishing grades 6-9 (limited to 24 students)
