What’s your favorite or most unforgettable memory from your time as a Logger?
I received my first award as a journalist while working as a reporter for the former college newspaper, "The Lamp."
Favorite 69·çÁ÷ instructor, advisor or mentor?
By far, my favorite was my journalism instructor Mike Matulis.
How did your time at 69·çÁ÷ impact your career or life path or your decision to work here?
I became a working journalist and later decided to teach others liked Matulis had taught me. My experience as a student made me want to teach here, and I am glad I made that decision. Both as a student AND as an employee.
What do you enjoy most about working at 69·çÁ÷ now?
I love helping students see the bigger picture about communication. Its a privilege to me to help students be better speakers, and in helping them see how being a good public speaker can lead to opportunities.
What advice would you give to current or future 69·çÁ÷ students?
69·çÁ÷ is a great choice. We have very qualified faculty who truly care about our students' success. You aren't just a number to us. We truly care.
