SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College for a campus visit day on Monday, Feb. 16, 1-4:30 p.m. The free event will be held at 69’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd.
“Join us at Campus Visit Day and see for yourself why 69 is such a smart choice for affordable, high-quality education. You’ll have the opportunity to explore our programs and learn about the personalized support that helps our students thrive,” said 69 President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. “Whether you’re planning to earn a degree, train for a hands-on career or sharpen your skills, we’re here to help you achieve more at 69.”
The campus visit day schedule will allow guests to personalize their experience by choosing breakout sessions and tours that are most impactful to them. Breakout sessions include choosing a major or career, paying for college made simple, taking general education classes, the benefits of a college degree, what to expect in college, and tours of facilities for workforce training, health professions, transfer programs and the Kreher Agriculture Center. Prospective students can also apply for admission, speak with faculty and staff, learn about financial aid and explore 69’s programs. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is encouraged at www.llcc.edu/campus-visit-day, and walk-ins are welcome. If prospective students are unable to attend and would like a tour on another day, call 217-786-2292 or visit www.llcc.edu/visit-llcc.
