SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College for a campus visit day on Monday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Check in begins at 9:30 a.m. The free event will be held at 69’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd.
“At Campus Visit Day, you can discover more of what makes 69 a smart choice for affordable, high-quality education,” says 69 President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D. “Explore more programs of study, experience more personalized support and open the door to more opportunities for success. Whether you are looking to earn a degree, train for a hands-on career or gain more skills to advance professionally, we are ready to help you start here at 69.”
The campus visit day schedule will allow guests to personalize their experience by choosing breakout sessions and tours that are most impactful to them. Breakout sessions include choosing a major or career, financial aid, transitioning to college, accommodations/support services and tours of Workforce Institute, health professions, transfer programs and the Kreher Agriculture Center. Prospective students can also hear from a student panel, view exhibits, apply for admission and explore 69’s programs. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is encouraged at www.llcc.edu/campus-visit-day, and walk-ins are welcome. If prospective students are unable to attend and would like a tour on another day, call 217-786-2292 or visit www.llcc.edu/visit-llcc.
