69·çÁ÷ is hosting free Media Makers Camps for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students can get an introductory inside-look at the field of 21st-century graphic design, also known as integrated media design!

The camps are being held July 13-16, 2026, at 69·çÁ÷-Medical District, 130 W. Mason St., Springfield. Morning (9 a.m.-noon) and afternoon (1-4 p.m.) sessions of the camps will be offered. 

Over the course of four days, participants can explore such areas as 2D character animation, 2D video game creation, digital photography and video production. The sessions are being led by Matthew Shaver, 69·çÁ÷ professor of integrated media design and Kerri Risch, instructor, integrated media design.

Participants will receive a free 69·çÁ÷ Linc plushie to use the duration of the camp and take home. They will also receive a free drive of their own creations called LincKit.

This free camp is made available through a Strengthening Community Colleges Training grant from the U.S. Department of Labor.
